@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Nice video, chaps! Perhaps we'll soon see a press day at BHX for this?

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official The RAF Typhoon is one of the most mission ready and capable aircraft anywhere in the world helping protect our skies at home and abroad. This £870 million contract award is an investment in the future readiness and preparedness of our fighter jets.

@Gabriel64869839 @RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Why does it not have winglets fitted? Surely the mission profile for this aircraft is crying out for winglets and the fuel burn savings they bring. Curious engineer!

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Why no winglets like the civilian planes have? Don’t they save fuel?

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official I hope this project is a success, but its running late and its over budget. The RAF needed the five jet they ordered, not just the three they are getting. Will they get five? Unlikely. 😠

@BoeingDefense @RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Just think! UK could have gotten 5 for the price of 5, but instead elected to get 3 for the price of 5! Now they won't have enough to patrol their skies if one is deployed, or goes down for maintenance or repairs! Clever!

@BoeingDefense @RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Leave Washington state forever

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official 本塗装前に飛ばすなんてレアですね

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official This aircraft is vital to UK defence.

@RoyalAirForce @bhx_official Come on @RAFWaddington surely we can have a better name than wedge tail.
