Two things can be right at once and two things can be wrong at once. The girl was filming in public and nobody can tell her under normal circumstances to Deletw the video. The lecturer had no right to hold her, that’s assault. She should have said whatever she said out of respect but her words were not directly insults just ego bruising words. She should have understood no circumstance hit her lecturer or an elder. He did nothing wrong touching her to excuse, she shouldn’t have been filming in the school premises in an area designated for passage. Her being expelled is a no brainer, yes they both had wrong doings but her being expelled is not even up for argument, you can’t slap and beat up a lecturer and expect a lighter sentences. Anything else is basically opinions and it wouldn’t have still stopped her from getting expelled after what happened. Oya everybody go and sleep, case closed

His point is valid. I made this same argument. The lecturer should be setting the moral precedent as the learning authority. We have due processes for crying out loud!

The student is so very wrong; you are standing in a corridor making a video, and your lecturer is approaching, and there is no way for him to go through unless you step aside. You should not wait for the lecturer to ask you to step aside before doing so, and she should have deleted the video when the lecturer asked her to do so if he appeared on the video. We should not forget we are talking about a teacher and his student. This should not be a debate. Where are our morals and discipline as students? Na wa oo.
