"The first advantage I gave [the team] was no people. So it's the only microprocessor in the world that was designed by two people rather than 50." "The second advantage was no money because we didn't have any. So the only way they could do it was by keeping it really, really, really simple." "A side effect, which was actually not a design requirement, a side effect was that because it was so small, it consumed very little power."
