Normally by this point in a ski season I will have hiked and skied #TheShoulder 50+ times. But today, 4/2, was my first (and 2nd) this season due to the calf injury combined with the lack of winter. I'm thankful that I was able to get in at least one virgin shoulder run in this season, and that winter decided to make an appearance.

I remember it like it was yesterday, i was chilling in my flat in Auckland park when a car passed outside of my room because the road was very close to my window, when i heard that bass hitting hard on the roof of the building and I just knew that it was my song, a few seconds later Simphiwe Majola calls and says “your song is on Metro Fm right now” for the first time on radio. I could not believe it, but that’s the day I knew in the depth of my heart that the time had arrived, we were about to take over the music game. I can’t tell you why I was so sure but I was, and boy was I right. Everything that happened after that felt like a long movie I never thought I’d ever star in. I speak this with tears in my eyes, I’ve seen the favour of God is ways I will never fathom South Africa and the world at large. There’s not enough words to express how grateful I am for allowing me to live this dream. THANK YOU

Jalen Ramsey says DeAndre Hopkins is the only NFL WR to ever put 100 yards on him in a game, and he immediately texted his trainer afterward “I gave up 100 yards one time to one person, D-Hop. One time. D-Hop. I remember. You know stuff like that I ain't gonna forget. It was my third year in the league” “It was the last game of the season. We weren't going to the playoffs, and that was the year after we were good, so I was already mad at the season anyway” “Last game of the season, we had Houston, and I kind of keep track during the game. I knew I hadn't given up 100, on me personally. Let me say on me personally…D-Hop put over 100 on me that game because I was matched up on him at least 80% of the time, and he had probably 120 to 140 that game” “I remember I was hot. “This year you won Monaco, you won Silverstone, and you won the World Championship. What else is there left to do?” Lando: “I mean, they're really the best ones. Just downhill from here. I would have loved to make my life a bit easier and winning just earlier next time. But it's always more exciting when it kind of goes down to the final race, final few laps. It's more exciting for everyone, for you guys most of all. But I won ones that, again, people have dreamt of winning. There are some of the most incredible ones. The lap I did in Monaco in quali was the only other time, probably in the last 10 years, that I cried a little bit over something. Because there I proved myself wrong. It was one other moment this season that I proved myself wrong. Because I had that bad run of results. I just couldn't perform in qualifying. Qualifying has always been my strong suit, my best. Yeah, it's been my strength since I was in karting. All my qualifying results are my thing and they weren’t at the beginning of the season. So, when I went to the hardest track to do a qualifying lap in, I turned off my delta for the first time that weekend. So, I couldn't see if I was on a better lap, worse lap, whatever it was. It's not been my best track in the past. For me to then to go there and put that lap I put in at the end of qualifying was one of the best moments of my career in a way because it was the time I almost doubted myself the most ever. In the most important season that it turned out to be. So, but that one lap, 1 minute 9 seconds was all it needed for me to flip everything and turn that thought of ‘I just don't know if I got this’ to ‘oh, I can definitely do this.’ And that was a pivotal moment for me up here.”

My first Allsvenskan goal was against Djurgården at Fredriksskans on the 10/05/2008. Before I made my first team debut for Kalmar FF, I spent 3months playing for the reserve team while I training with the first team on a daily basis. My first encounter with Nanne Bergstrand before I signed with Kalmar FF, he told me how much he trusted me and how he will love it that I joint the team after laying down the plans for me in the team. He said "you will be the joker of the team this season" I didn't understand what he meant be that but I didn't care about that because I trusted myself enough that I will definitely play more than a joker role if given the chance. So during this 3months playing for the Reverse Team I was not happy at missing games for the first team at all because training with them made me feel like I can play in this team. During one of the games with the reverse team against Malmo FF away from home was when everything thing changed for me. Playing against them is always difficult even their first team. We won the game 3-4 and i scored 4 scored 4 goals against a very good Malmo FF reserve team and that was the last time I played for the reserves that season. The next day there was no recovery for me so I had to training with the first team as usual. Nanne called me before training and told me I will be with part of the first team match squad moving forward. May 10th I scored my first Professional goal after being on the pitch for 10mins and I did it in style. I was so happy to have scored the last goal of the game to give us a comfortable 5-1 win. The joy and tears in my eyes was the reward for my patience and determination to prove myself that I have a place in the first team. I went on to play 21 games for the first team and became the replacement for our Brazilian star Caesar Santin who joined Fc Copenhagen. Be patient with yourself and trust in your abilities to make it happen.

Yes. And this is not a new idea but one that I have been consistent on for a long time. The clip below is from one of my Youtube videos that was shared on my Youtube channel 9 months ago- back when Bitcoin was trading just under 100k and many were saying that the "cycle top was in". In this sub 2 minute clip I break down my expectations if the top WAS in (I also said I didn't believe this to be the case) and shared why even if our top was in I would still expect our massive alt season. Of course, our top was in fact NOT in, and we went on to make a fresh impulse off the 74k level. That being said, the same logic I applied at that time can be applied to today's situation if we were to assume once again that the top is already in (and again, I don't believe it is). Bottom line- whether the top is in or not- it doesn't change the fact that the best is yet to come for alts as I have repeated for years now that the biggest alt season will come post $BTC top, whether that is NOW or after $BTC climbs higher, somewhere above 150k+ (which is my expectation as long as 74k is not breached).

Justin Verlander, who is retiring at the end of the season, reflects on his time with the Mets: "I really fell in love with the city. It was short, obviously. Didn't go the way we wanted. There's a lot of things that were sad about it. But I think the relationship with Steve Cohen and his wife Alex, how great they were to me and my family. Getting to play that short time in New York was incredible. I still have my apartment in the city. There's not a lot of positives. I made some great relationships there. I think another thing that I appreciate was getting the chance to play with Max again, kind of rekindle that relationship after some years away. Just a lot of growth. I remember my daughter like bebopping around the city in her little scooter. Just a lot of, like, life memories there. It was a cool time for me in my life."
