The first time I learnt about this animal's name was when I was playing Scrabble in secondary school. I didn't know what it looks like but I know it looks like a cow, from the definitely. This is yak, a different cattle species found in the Himalayas.

And then it slowly grew on me. And then, you know, just the idea of it being Rosie because Rosé has been such a big part of my life. And that's what we present ourselves as Blackpink, Blackpink Rosé. And I felt like this was very opposite. And so I noticed that it was closer to kind of introducing a different version of me, like because it combined all the stories I would talk about with my friends and family. And they call me Rosie at home. And of course, the online name that the company had made for me from at the beginning of Blackpink, I remember when it happened was like the day before they released my picture, profile picture, they were like, Rosé. And like the name got announced.

“There’s a song called tomorrow, most people don’t know about it, it’s one of the B-side tracks, and only our fans know about it. I really like that song, because I wrote it in high school. I wrote the beat and stuff when I was a trainee. It was released after we debuted. I actually wrote the melody and the lyrics when I was in hospital, after my appendix burst. The song itself has a hopeful tone. I really love this song. I’m not saying it’s my absolute favourite. But I keep thinking about it.”
