The ancient Crusader fortress in southern Lebanon is no longer in the hands of Iran’s jihadi proxy. Israeli and Golani flags are flying over the Beaufort Fortress in southern Lebanon.

What It’s Like Inside the Nose of a B-17 Flying Fortress 🇺🇸 Rare footage from inside the plexiglass nose of a surviving B-17 Flying Fortress gives a close-up look at the bomber’s iconic forward compartment while in flight. The video clearly shows the famous Norden bombsight, .50 caliber cheek guns with ammunition belts loaded, and the cramped navigator’s station where crews operated during WWII bombing missions over Europe. This exact position was once occupied by bombardiers and navigators flying deep into enemy territory aboard the Flying Fortress. 📹 Patrick Carey

B-17 Flying Fortress Under Attack by Bf 110G (WWII) 🇺🇸🇩🇪 Restored World War II footage shows a U.S. B-17 Flying Fortress taking heavy fire from a German Messerschmitt Bf 110G during an aerial engagement over Europe. The twin-engine fighter closes in from behind and unleashes devastating cannon fire into the bomber’s fuselage, wings, and engines as smoke pours from the damaged aircraft. Even after taking heavy hits, the bomber keeps flying, showing exactly why the B-17 became known as the “Flying Fortress.”
