Miraculously, Karina was found alive by her uncle, who had joined the search effort. She was discovered approximately five miles from her home, deep in the Siberian wilderness. #WATCH | Ranikhet, Almora: The Sariyapani Post team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) achieved a major breakthrough today by successfully tracing and rescuing a young woman who had been missing since July 1, 2026, from the Majkhali area. She was found injured in a dense forest after an intensive search operation. According to officials, the woman, a resident of Majkhali under Ranikhet Police Station limits, had been reported missing on July 1, 2026. Since then, the SDRF Sariyapani Post team, led by Sub-Inspector Pankaj Dangwal, had been carrying out continuous search operations to locate her. During today’s operation, the team found the missing woman approximately 12–13 kilometres inside a dense forest near Sundarkhal. Preliminary information suggests that she had lost her way and became stranded in the forest.
