The frankly startling title sequence to BBC2's LATE NIGHT HORROR (1968). It's as if the cover art from some lurid horror novel came to life.

It's remarkable how the main five channels have next to no horror series or shows on barring what's on at Christmas. Considering how popular the genre is it's definitely missing a trick.

That's crazy. I've been completely out of the loop with 'terrestrial telly' (do they still call it that?) since I ditched my Freeview box years ago. They seem dreadfully out of touch.

Unfortunately, yeah. Except for the sole remaining episode, which was released on DVD by Kaleidoscope.
