the fundamental issue with Jaylen Brown's scoring process is that it's purely contingent on whether the ball goes in and it really does nothing to bend defenses in any meaningful way; the ball did go in a few times in the 4th to make it look like JB was... dragging the Celtics back into the game but it was about as good as it got for essentially the entirety of the game, Sixers were happy to drop super deep and guard JB 1-on-1, there was no need to gap, the wing defenders could just stick to the shooters and if the ball goes in, well, you just kind of move on because it happens from time to time. For this process to work out in your favour JB would probably need to be closer to 70% ts, 55% just ain't it that's basically creating two parallel offensive processes, it's detrimental for Boston in most situations, except for maybe when JB gets switched onto Maxeyshow more

Cameron Young is playing with a golf ball that would allegedly be compliant with the new roll back rules that will come into effect in a few years time. He was asked about it ahead of the PGA Championship and he says every player in the game is sacrificing distance for control, and he put it in play at the Wyndham last year which he won. “I think I put it in play the same reason that everybody else plays the ball that they play. I hit it during a ball test, one of the Titleist facilities probably close to two years ago and didn't know anything about it and just kind of say, hey, what's that one? Because I liked the flight. “Then as things progressed, I was able to test it last year at Wyndham, able to put that in play, and it's been there since. “Obviously there is no conforming list. I wasn't aware that it would have -- I suppose I read something that said it passed that test, but I wasn't aware of that until very recently. “So at no point was that a consideration. It was just really me trying to optimize my golf, and it's the ball that seems to work the best for me.” He then was asked whether he lost distance with it compared to other balls he’s tested: “Not particularly. I don't think any of us are out really here playing the ball that goes the farthest. I think you'd struggle to find a single person that's doing that. We're all sacrificing a certain amount of things that we feel are worth it, control with irons, control with wedges. For me, that's the biggest thing is being able to control spin, and this is the ball that does the best for me.” Finally he can as asked whether this ball goes further than the one he was using: “No, I hit very similar, yeah. It's much more -- the driver is kind of the easiest thing to deal with, I feel like. They see us once the game is going the popcorn's been popped and the lights are brighter. It takes so much more like sacrifice and discipline and things over the course if you want to be really great at this and if you want to do it for a long period of time. It's so many hours that you got to commit to it. There's so many things that you maybe want to do that you can't if you want to be great but everybody's journey is different. I'm just speaking from my journey but I do think that the game gives back to the ones who put the time in and commit to the game. That's just the game God's rewarding and we don't cheat the process"

This coach was teaching his students how to play dodgeball. He started with teaching them how to dodge the ball. He gave them an advantage by using a bigger ball than they would be normally using. Was he crossing the line for pelting them? As I mentioned before I was pretty good at the game, I used to throw the ball insanely hard, most of the time the other kid’s didn’t have time to react. The only rule we had in school was no head shots. I remember being sat out of gym for dodgeball because I saw an opening and I took the shot. I was aiming for her feet and not anything else. However she decided she would try to slide because she thought I was going to throw it high. She slid right into the path of the ball and got belted in the head, knocking off her glasses and breaking them. Of course she cried, I felt bad for it as I wasn’t trying to hit her in the face nonetheless throw the ball at her hard. But it didn’t matter, i still was punished for it even though i tried to explain how it was an accident. I wasn’t punished beyond that but being sat out of the game was punishment enough for me since I liked the game so much. Being a parent now I get it, I wouldn’t want that to happen but I would understand it as part of the game. Would you be upset if another kid hit your child in the face with the ball or is it really just part of the game? I think it’s time we bring this game back to schools.

Timing is everything, isn’t it? And sometimes being in the right place at the right time feels well, timely, or even predetermined. With wildlife photography, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more you know about your subject, the better because it increases your chances of being where you need to be when you need to be there. There is also an element of just letting go and taking what is given to you. It’s always best to have no expectations at all when it comes to wildlife. On this morning, everything did fall perfectly into place, and I was able to capture this dreamy scene of a beautiful Dalmatian pelican and its reflection on smooth water as it came in for a landing. Oh yeah, the glorious snow-capped mountains in the back were definitely a treat too. The days prior to this, that mountain range was hidden by clouds. I didn’t even know it was there. 🤪

Jimmy used to go to a little salty piece of land in the Bahamas whenever he had time for a little R&R. It was a golf cart only kind of place... great fishing and the clear blue waters the Bahamas are famous for. He decided to send me a video of the peaceful patio with nothing but the sounds of the ocean and A1A on the turntable. The video was 7 minutes long... perfection. The only problem? The audio cable didn't work so it's just the record spinning with no sound 🤣 And it was still awesome - trimmed it to show you the ending because this was JB in one of his happiest of places.

He hits the longest home runs without coming off the ball. How to correct it: Shoulder in, chin and face in on the ball and swing the bat over your front shoulder. Then hold the finish (Arraez swing and finish drill he did in the video) It's worked WONDERS for hitters I've used it with when they need it.
