The fundamental question about dissolving the Education Department is: Who will be more responsive to a child's needs and the wishes of their parents? The local school board or a bureaucrat in Washington, D.C.? Every American knows the answer.

My fundamental question is how you can shill for clear evil against our children and not resign in disgrace?! Step down bioweapon Bill!!

How much does your child know about America's founding document? Try the quiz and bet your kid. If they score 100% you pay up! 📜🏆

Sure. That's why state superintendents run curriculum. The DOE helps fund programs that provide aid and much needed services to low income, at risk, and disabled kids. Aren't you in the government or something?

Thank you, Bill. The other key question is "what are we willing to cut so that rich people can get a tax cut?" I want all rich people to make more because Jesus didn't want us all to be educated or to have equal shots at the American dream. He wanted Kings, Queens, and Popes!

Except you already have local control and DoED just manages the things the states couldn’t be trusted to do properly like Title I, Title IX, iEPs, 504, IDEA, Federal lunch, Title IV Your state underperforms under state control already

Louisiana schools would still be segregated without the federal government

But it’s not the local school board it’s the State. Like in Florida where they give 8K per child to send kids to catholic schools no mater the parents income. That’s $700 million to catholic schools alone. Millions also go to for profit charter schools with no oversite on spending

If you have special needs kids, Billy Cassidy doesn’t think that they need or deserve an education.

Senator Cassidy, local school boards were responsible for segregation and the current poor performance.

Alabama built a billion dollar prison rather than invest in their dismal education system. Football coaches in Mobile County get paid 3x more than a math teacher does. What were you saying again?

Again that was never the role of the department of education. You people don't even know what the programs do that you guys are cutting.
