To be fair though ... it could be a little mom and pop shop who doesn't have the budget for an artist and just selling the same things that the big pet stores sell. That doesn't really correlate directly to quality of the products or the service. And its also very possible that they did pay an artist and the artist is the one who used AI to make that.

Yeah that's the thing with mom and pops. A lot of them don't really know how to run a business. At the same time if you don't support them they disappear and the big corps take over. There was a really cool little family pet shop near me in Mexico. The owner rescued all kinds of stray and injured animals. Even pigeons. Unfortunately ran out of business and now there's just petco :( there are a lot of other small tiendas in residential areas that just sell the same stuff. Super unprofessional. Misprints and everything if they even have signs. But that's the cost of keeping money local.
