Joe Schoen didn’t just trade up for Hyatt, he allowed Humphrey to go to the Broncos so that we could experience this incredible play.

He dogged it on a deep ball earlier as well.

At this point, why not honestly try him only in jets sweeps and similar plays. Make him a kick returner too. He’s got speed, so use it. Even if only for the rest of the season.

You also rarely see a “deep threat” so poor at tracking the ball. Almost always stops or slows down because he can’t find the ball in the air

I’m not a huge Hyatt fan by any stretch. Brees is an ex teammate of Winston. Hyatt properly reads the defense and was drifting back to the soft spot in the defense. Watch that replay objectively. Should have been a back shoulder throw. Easy TD. 1/2

Seems Hyatt was open the moment he passed the 10 yd line. I don’t know the called play but if he breaks inside instead of outside no one was around do him.
