Because if she didn't feel that intimacy in the beginning of the relationship, there's no way you would've made it to the point of getting married .... they got comfortable and distant... there's a difference from not knowing, you know what you're giving to your relationship and what you're not... Do you give more of yourself outward to others outside of your marriage than to your spouse? That's a choice to play stupid is insulting. Sex is not intimacy. Intimacy requires a certain level of attention to detail that sex does not necessarily require.... Intimacy starts with the sharing of yourself and then the special care to your partner that may not even be sexual. It could just be the emotional vulnerability that you allow yourself to have with the person you say you're gonna spend the rest of your life with and then the nurturing received is reciprocated and your bond grows. intimacy is always present in the very early part of relationships and somehow it goes away... And when you notice it going away, you have a duty to yourself and your partner to fix that... Never say you didn't know because you know...
