They are great weed whackers, that's for sure. I had the same experience. Thought my chickens would have plenty to keep them occupied. Nope!

dont tilt earth more then the hole where the seed is getting planted and have some cutted grass/hay or Thatch as cover. it works wonder, when planted let some of the plants be. next year the yield will get better.

Chickens appear to be like humans. They eventually destroy the environment.

Actually they are cleaning up the garden from all kinds of pests.

That's when you bring in a couple of pigs and a little extra watering.
