huge win.

Congratulations and thank you for leadership!

Goodbye Tether!

Congratulations and thanks to you and @SenGillibrand for teaming up to make this happen. Huge lift across both isles. Well done.

The GENIUS Act’s passage reveals Washington’s addiction to complexity. Mandating 1:1 reserves and monthly audits for stablecoins? Basic financial hygiene. But layering this with a labyrinth of state/federal regulatory overlaps and carveouts for legacy banks reeks of bureaucratic empire-building. Section 4(a)(1)(A)(vii) alone lets regulators arbitrarily expand “acceptable” reserve assets – a blank check for future mission creep. The 68-30 vote proves both parties will rubber-stamp anything labeled “innovation” while ignoring the real issue: Why does Congress need 54 pages to enforce what honest markets already demand? This bill doesn’t prevent the next FTX – it just gives DC more tools to punish disruptors while protecting entrenched players. The $2 trillion stablecoin market will now funnel fees to compliance consultants instead of cutting Visa/Mastercard’s 3% vig for small businesses. Real reform would’ve sunset the OCC’s role after 5 years. Instead, we get permanent oversight bloat.

This is bullish for Bitcoin. The bill states that stablecoins will be backed by U.S. Treasuries and other liquid assets. I believe registered stablecoin issuers will hold Bitcoin in their reserves.

I appreciate it passing but holy cow you guys move with the speed of smell

America will get screwed and your pockets will be lined.

Great job out there man
