From liquidity models like the GLI and CLI, to liquidation maps, alt league, risk intel, treasury trackers and the letters page, everything you need to stay ahead is in one place. CCTV piece on J-11 series (China's Su-27) revealed importance of modern electronics in air combat. AESA upgrade in J-11BG from J-11B resulted in 50% longer detection range & 10x better ECCM compared mechanical radar. J-16 would take this up another notch by having all new plumbing that allows much greater power generation & cooling to support more powerful radar & processor unit. Aircraft that still relies on early 2000s electronics tech would have a real hard time against modern avionics. At the end of the day, detecting other side & avoid getting detected is the key. If your RF tech is significantly better, then it makes up gaps elsewhere. This is when PAF stations something like JF-17 block 3 in Saudi Arabia, it's a big deal. Aside from the new F-15s, RSAF does not have AESA equipped fighter jet to the best of my knowledge. AESA radar is a huge upgrade over mechanical radars. GaN radar is a huge upgrade over GaA radar. GaN-on-SiC is huge upgrade over GaN-on-Si radar. GaO-On-Diamond is a huge upgrade over GaN-on-SiC. Modern air combat is all about the RF tech, power/cooling and software involved.
