As part of the #BigPushAgenda, two major roads under construction intersect at Afienya junction: the Dawhenya-Afienya-Dodowa road and the Ashaiman-Asikuma Junction road. This has warranted a demolition exercise that has affected several shops and houses. We have been engaging with the affected people since February to notify them. However, I needed to visit the affected to reassure them that the Government was acting in their best interests and that, where compensation was justified, it would be paid. Once again, it was a good engagement even under the circumstances but as always, I have maintained that the job dey the ground. Afienya always has a special place in my heart! 🦁🇬🇭
