the Giants offense is going to be gamescript dependent, but they actually match up well against the Rams defense. Rams defense has struggled with big body run games and QBs that like to extend plays. Both things the Giants have! I broke it down for this week’s Hoss Fight.

This is why I'm picking the San Francisco 49ers to BEAT the Los Angeles Rams in week 1... - Having traveled to Australia multiple times, I think the Niners plan of attack getting there a week early and acclimating with the time change is more beneficial than what the Rams are doing. - The Rams defense has a bunch of studs and I like how they rebuilt their secondary, but are we expecting them to be elite right from the jump with so many new pieces against Kyle Shanahan? - The middle of the field I think can be exposed vs. Rams - Super Bowl favorites and a stacked team doesn't automatically mean the Rams are going to dominate everybody. 20 Super Bowl contenders the last 30 years have been +500 odds or better to win a ring. None of them have. - Rams have a star-studded team, but so do the Niners. #49ers

It's just wild to me that the Giants held this trick play in their holster all offseason only to run it -- without any hint of it coming on any tape -- and to have the defense look like they expected it to come the entire way 😂

Mike Vrabel does not believe the #Patriots offensive game plan against the Seahawks was conservative: “I’m responsible for every call that goes in… Every game is different, every defense is different… Josh [McDaniels] game plans with his staff… I’ll sit in with those… I don’t look at things as conservative. That’s what we felt like was best against this defense. We didn’t hit some things. I mean, you have to be able to run the ball against split-safety defense. That’s no secret. You don’t play split-safety defense to stop the run; they play it to not give up big plays… We tried to hit some shots down the field. We threw it to the running backs a couple times for 12 or 15 yards when they were all off there. On the interception, should’ve thrown it to the back again for a third time.
