Trump's "Board of Peace" is essentially a slush fund at this point. Slush fund: noun A reserve of money used for illicit purposes, especially political bribery. Originally created as a much more inclusive organization to address the conflict in Gaza specifically, it's turned into another narcissistic pet project and publicity gimmick that's now centered almost entirely around Donald Trump and his ego. I mean ffs, the "Board of Peace" logo is almost a copy of the UN's, except for Trump adding tacky gold color around it like he does everything, and changing its central image from a map of the world into a map of the United States. The implications from this alone speak volumes. Trump is currently planning to steal $10 billion from taxpayers to fund his exclusive and fake club. For all of their incessant whining about "fraud" this and that and "foreign aid" being used for illegitimate and underhanded purposes, MAGA seems to be all in on this whole dishonest, unofficial and fraudulent operation. An operation that Trump intends to have full, unilateral control over, and with little to no transparency or oversight involved. This EXTORTION ring will be used to exact funds—TAXPAYER funds—for purposes that fulfill Trump's personal, financial and political goals, as well as the goals of corrupt foreign governments, autocrats, monarchs and petro-fascists. It's no wonder that it's attracting dictators. This isn't about "peace," it's about serving the interests of Donald Trump and whichever nefarious foreign benefactors are willing to pay for the privilege of having their own prideful ambitions realized. The price to join alone is clearly a bribe disguised as an admission fee. Money that will be added to the slush fund and later used to enact Trump's foreign policy agenda, which is just an extension of his ego now. No, this isn't about making "peace," it's about making money. Money that will not go towards feeding refugees or recovery efforts, but building real estate, filling power voids, enriching royal families, funding military interventions, handing territory over to the highest bidder and expanding Donald Trump's presence and spreading his properties around the world. This is if it succeeds at all mind you. Because in a normal world, it would be a non-starter. Trump will demand that members comply, or else risk being banished from his pretend "peace" club. Either that, or they can present Trump with some lavish gift, bribe or "contribution" in exchange for favors and concessions. This whole operation also risks making our global adversaries more powerful in every conceivable way. Trump's self interests outweigh the consequences. He couldn't care less about our global alliances, he isn't concerned about the cost of more military interventions overseas, nor the toll they will inflict on everyone and every country involved. He won't stop at making allies of enemies and enemies of allies along the way. Worst of all, Trump appears to be hell bent on legitimizing dictatorship both abroad AND at home, and his "board of peace" will help him reach this goal. Putting aside his personal and financial objectives, this whole graft is a vindictive ploy on Trump's part in response to being embarrassed on the world stage. Our once friendly allies and middle powers are forming their own international coalition that excludes the US because Trump has soured them against us. He has alienated important allied countries, withdrawn from long standing global alliances, and has made our country a laughing stock; causing us to lose whatever respect and trustworthiness we've cultivated over the years. Trump is a spiteful, malignant narcissist. He's desperately trying to establish a new world order in his own honor. His reaction to the western Democratic world turning its back on him is to create his OWN club. One where foreign adversaries and dictators become major partners with Donald Trump, not the United States.
