I think Nolan is on his way, but for now, I still think Spielberg is #1. I'll have another comparison after Nolan's got at least 20 movies under his belt. Spielberg has 37 movies over a variety of genre. But damn, Nolan is doing great.

Best movie directors of all time include Akira Kurosawa, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg. They revolutionized filmmaking .There were many great filmmakers whose works were not fully explored as old movies seems technological outdated.
