Charidotella sexpunctata: This is the most common species of golden tortoise beetle, found throughout the Americas. It is about 5-7 millimeters long and has a bright golden color with six black spots on its back. When disturbed, it can change its color to a reddish-brown. "Golden Tortoise Beetle," all of which are stunningly beautiful insects with metallic gold shells.
