The golden touch

@Nostalgic_toons Hey wait a minute, he was touching his cape just a second ago how come that didn’t turn to gold!?

@Nostalgic_toons If he’s able to turn anything he touches into gold then how the hell is his coat not golden?

@Nostalgic_toons The Short that Walt himself hated, despite having directed it himself

@Nostalgic_toons Most portrayals of King Midas forget that he wanted the ability to turn things into gold because he was so poor he didn't even own a castle, and that his ears were changed into those of a donkey.

@Nostalgic_toons So what if someone fed him, thus no golden touch?

@Nostalgic_toons The Midas story really has the one big problem were if everything any part of him touches turns to gold would he by just stepping on the ground end the world. But if its just his hands could he still eat he just couldn't ever touch the food directly.

@Nostalgic_toons Hmm 🤔

@Nostalgic_toons Oh wow i remember watching this on vhs at one time

@Nostalgic_toons i heard Walt Disney hated this short

@Nostalgic_toons Just wear gloves

@Nostalgic_toons He's a king. Have a henchman feed him. Easy

@Nostalgic_toons Just wear gloves

@Nostalgic_toons Solo sus manos hacen que las cosas se hagan oro? Pq todo su cuerpo está tocando su ropa y sigue perfectamente normal por lo que, siendo rey habría bastado pedirle a un sirviente que ue lo alimente

@Nostalgic_toons 😂
