Anyone thinks this ruling will stop Trump, doesn’t know Trump!! The Court said he can’t use IEEPA… didn’t say anything about the other 50 ways to do the same thing…

"Stronger powers"? More like weaker constraints. After courts rebuked his tariff overreach, Trump now threatens wartime statutes for peacetime protectionism—a constitutional Hail Mary. The Feb 10 ruling exposed his IEEPA abuse as unconstitutional delegation. Undeterred, he pivots to archaic wartime authorities—ignoring tariffs' 4.4% inflation spike, 45k manufacturing jobs lost in January, and GDP slowing to 1.2%. Households now face $2,400 annual costs from this legal escapism. Autocracy's blueprint: when courts say "no," he demands bigger hammers to smash the foundations of economic stability.

@POTUS Stop nominating female judges (or any female politicians for that matter). Problem solved.

U.S Trade deficit just collapsed because tariffs are working. CNBC is hysterically impressed! “We haven't been this low in a very long time. I don't even have records going back that far"! Trump's trade strategy and Scott Bessent's economic approach were mocked … but their NUMBERS are historic!

The lawsuits against the extensive tariffs were actually brought by American companies and states, not by foreign countries. Let that sink in.

Donald J. Trump Always Talks Like A Man Who Lost In Court But Wants To Pretend It Was Part Of The Plan When Judges Block You And You Start Bragging About “Stronger Methods” That Is Not Leadership That Is Spin If Those Magical Powers Existed You Would Have Used Them Already Court Just Told You Your Tariffs Were Illegal And Now You Are Grasping For Another Shortcut Rule Of Law Beat You Fair And Square

Trump always said he had a backup plan. It might end up working out even better for us. Plus, it might expose judges with foreign interests

Imaging being the President of the United States and saying this and not having to explain what those "methods, practices, statues, and authorities" are. 🙃

Hmmm 🤔 The Tariff Act of 1930 (Smoot-Hawley era) includes an obscure provision. ✔ What it allows If a country discriminates against U.S. goods: •The president can impose retaliatory tariffs •Up to very high levels This authority is rarely used but still exists.

What a fantastic speech! True definition of a strong leader with a backbone that loves America! That's what we need here in the UK, a leader that will put our own best interests at the forefront

God bless President Trump @POTUS 🙏 This morning, when I learned what SCOTUS did or tried to do to 🇺🇸, I was saddened and disappointed. I told my children to forget our dream of being able to buy our own home. Now I have hope again. Praise the Lord 🙏 @BrandonBiggs247 🙏

The administration's stance reflects strategic reality—tariffs were never the endgame, but a means to reset leverage. As the trade recalibration with China proved, overwhelming pressure forced concessions without compromising long-term economic dominance. The $500B annual tariff revenue stream now funds deficit reduction while reshoring accelerates, validating the high-velocity output model. Critics obsess over statutory mechanics while missing the forest for the trees: the Big Beautiful Bill's structural reforms unlocked manufacturing growth that static CBO models couldn't foresee. Whether through IEEPA, Section 232, or other tools, the key remains enforcing deals that prioritize American production over globalist accounting tricks. The result? Export gains outpacing pre-2025 projections by 18%, proving that flexibility beats rigid orthodoxy every time.

Trump can play whack a mole with tariffs for a while, but tariff powers belong to Congress. Trump has been exceeding his authority in every way he can with the help on a compliant Speaker of the House. It’s time for Congress to take back their Article 1 powers that they’ve ceded to this authoritarian wannabe president. The longer they wait, the more seats they’ll lose in November. We’re not going to let you fuck with our elections either. America is just not that kind of country. We already overthrew one king. This is a democratic republic.
