The government has engineered itself into a state of wilful ignorance. It risks dismantling international humanitarian law to maintain its support for Israel. We are at a hinge moment in history: we can suspend arms exports to Israel, or risk being complicit in genocide.

The government clearly still believes that it will not be punished for its complicity in genocide. The source of its confidence should alarm the electorate.

The UK is not "complicit". The UK is an active participant. The wretched people in government will be held accountable, one way or another there will be justice.

Risk complicity? That point has long since passed. With daily surveillance flights over Gaza in addition to the provision of arms and diplomatic cover, the UK is a full partner in this genocide.

There is no genocide no matter how many times the lie is repeated. Why not say Hamas should release all the hostages and surrender? Which side are you on?
