It is my humble appeal to the students on agitation that the government is ready for talks whenever you want, at whichever hour of the day and for as much length of time that you wish to. We are ready to discuss the issue on which the agitation has happened, and all the other related issues as well. The talks can be held with an open mind at the residence of Union Health Minister JP Nadda and of course I will be accompanying him. The talks could be held at Nadda's residence or at the office, or whichever of the two you wish to."

Q: Would we potentially see the S-400s going to the UAE, for example? Turkish FM Fidan: This is an ongoing process, and there have been discussions and talks within the government. There has to be a healthy discussion with the Russians as well, because I cannot name any country, process, or type of solution at this moment. As I said, there is a political will between the two presidents. Russia should be part of the discussions as well because this is where the S-400 was bought from. Source: The National News

'Hon’ble President in her address to both the Houses of the Parliament, spoke about the need to ensure transparency in examinations. The remarks reflect our government's intentions and commitment towards ensuring integrity in examinations. Government is ready to put forth its side and is also up for discussion on any issue but within parliamentary traditions and decorum. The opposition can discuss, debate and put forward their suggestions during the Motion of Thanks to President’s address. When the government is ready for discussions and giving an opportunity, why such confusion? Government’s responsibility is towards the youth and students. Since the government has expressed its willingness to engage in dialogue, we, as students, have also conveyed our willingness. We informed the SDO that we are ready for talks. Dialogue is essential in a democratic country or state, as it is the only way to reach a resolution...Our primary condition is that the dialogue should take place directly with the Chief Minister, and we have been assured that the Chief Minister will be present. Secondly, we want at least two media representatives to be present during the discussions. We want the dialogue to take place in the presence of the media. As of now, no specific date or time has been announced. The SDO has asked us to submit the names of our delegation members before 10:00 AM, after which the date and time of the meeting will be communicated..."

Since day 1 we have been saying that discussions have to be held as per rules. When the discussion is to be held, the duration of the discussion and under what rule the discussion is to be held should be decided after speaking with Floor Leaders of all parties. Mr. Sonam Wangchuk has ended his fast after Union Ministers Shri JP Nadda and Shri Jitendra Singh met him at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, and assured him of the government's commitment to address the concerns. Shri JP Nadda said: “The government is positive on not registering cases against those protesting peacefully at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, and those participating in the march to the Parliament on July 20, 2026. The government has already assured threadbare discussions to find solutions to paper leaks and educational reforms for exams in the Parliament. Besides, the government is also positively considering suitable compensation for the suicide victims of recent NEET paper leaks." Mr. Wangchuk’s decision to end his fast reflects his trust in the Modi government's commitment to students' interests. The government has time and again reiterated its resolve to act firmly against paper leaks and strengthen examination reforms. The interests of the nation's youth remain a top priority for the government. As PM Modi said, India's youth are a force for nation-building and every culprit operating against the nation’s future will be punished.

I have made two proposed options on the table for this funding. One is funding through the EU budget, borrowing against the budget, and the second possibility is the reparations. So today we will have the discussions about which one or who to use. There will be intensive discussions. For me the most important part is that at the end of the day we have secured the funding for the next two years.

#WATCH | Delhi | On CJP protest, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "When a non-violent protest is taking place, what is the reason for a lathi-charge? Lathi charge is not an act of non-violence. It is an act of violence. I don't understand the logic of this. Similarly here in Parliament, everyone knows these are burning issues across the country. It would be logical to have a discussion on them. Parliament is supposed to be the place where we can ventilate the voice of the people, the concerns of the people. Once we do that, we all know the government has a majority. As the old saying goes, the Opposition must have its say because the government will have its way. They have the majority. But at least let parliament be a forum where these concerns can be heard, can be truly ventilated and voiced, where various people can represent the views of their constituents. Then the government can disagree. But right now, just refusing a discussion is what has led to today's disruption because the opposition wanted these issues up there, wanted an opportunity to talk about them on the floor of the house. If Parliament is not for raising these issues, then honestly, what is it for? I mean, it can't just be a sort of notice board for the government to announce its bills and get them passed with a rubber stamp. That's not what Parliament is all about. It should be a forum where all these views can be heard, discussed, debated as necessary and then passed. The Prime Minister has sought cooperation from the opposition. We'll cooperate if they cooperate. The idea should be that there should be mutual cooperation. Let them permit certain discussions. This has got to be give and take. That's the way Parliament is supposed to function."

We are currently preparing for meetings with the U.S. side and our European friends in the coming days. Berlin will host many events. There will be a briefing from Secretary Umerov and our negotiating team on their contacts that have already taken place. General Hnatov and representatives of Ukraine’s defense and security sector will be working on the details of security guarantees for Ukraine, for Ukrainians. At the same time, Ukrainian government officials continue discussions with the United States and Europe on the real recovery and real development of Ukraine after the war. Most importantly, I will be meeting with envoys of President Trump, and there will also be meetings with our European partners, with many leaders, concerning the foundation of peace – a political agreement to end the war. The chance is considerable at this moment, and it matters for our every city, for our every Ukrainian community. We are working to ensure that peace for Ukraine is dignified, and to secure a guarantee – a guarantee, above all, that Russia will not return to Ukraine for a third invasion. I thank all partners who are helping us – helping Ukraine. And over these days in Berlin, we will work as actively and constructively as possible with everyone who can genuinely bring the agreement to normal terms.
