In as much as we can put blame on the truck driver but these bus drivers need to know that they ferry people and risking lives like this is not acceptable.

Why did the cars keep moving forward when they saw the bus in their lane? Surely, quick glance to check who is behind you, flick on hazard lights, meanwhile slowing down safely, and getting off the road if you can. Why didn't left bus not signal ahead with flashing lights?
