Just got my cards back from PSAcard and can’t say I’m surprised by the continued inconsistencies in their grading. ♏️Mewtwo should’ve graded 9 🔥Typhlosion should’ve graded 10 PSA just needs to go ahead and follow CGC and BGS when it comes to 10s. It would eliminate a large amount of the 9s that cards receive. It’s either a regular 10 (Meaning the card is deserving of a 10 even though it might not be perfectly centered etc but is otherwise 👌real nice Clark) OR pristine/black label AKA flawless which truly deserves a legit 10 because the card is perfect. Those cards are FEW and FAR between. If PSA did this, I’m sure it would eliminate the stigma surrounding those 9s that “should’ve graded 10.” However, at the end of the day my opinion doesn’t matter because Daddy knows people are still going to pay for those ugly red borders and inconsistent grades because Daddy is king and money talks. Good night everyone, stay tuned for another giveaway this week!

Baseball America also notes he rakes against fastballs. As far as the rest of the player? He's certainly a plus hit over power profile for now. The Red Sox have done a fantastic job of acquiring players with similar profiles, putting them on a bat speed program, and watching the EV90s (as well as SLG) take off. Enddy Azocar was one of those guys. Gutierrez is a more than capable defender in CF. He's got a good enough arm to stick there long term. He also runs very well (55-60 grade)... the 21-year-old has swiped 26 bases already this season. Gutierrez was signed by the Giants as an IAFA back in 2023 out of Mexico. He won't be Rule 5 eligible until 2027. The Red Sox lost a super high ceiling outfielder in Azocar earlier, but immediately replaced him with a sneaky good player in Gutierrez. Off the bat, I really like this acquisition and I see the vision. Good all-around tools and maybe some more pop on the way. Solid add.

As much as I wanted a 10, my Ancient Mew getting a 9 is a perfect example of why I'm 100% in favor of TAG becoming the standard in card grading. Here's why: I was very hopeful that this card would get a 10 (if not a pristine score) after I sent it in shortly after cracking the promo seal. It looked pretty perfect. If this had come back a PSA 9, I would've honestly been really frustrated and would've cracked it and re-submitted. Since TAG has an incredibly transparent "DIG Report" though, I can actually see why it got a 9. There is a very faint "ink defect" that is really hard to see with the naked eye. The DIG Report shows exactly where it is on the card, so now I can go back to the video I took of the raw card before sending it, and sure enough if you look hard enough you can actually see the print lines when the light hits it right. I don't know about you, but I'm all for this kind of transparency and accuracy when it comes to getting cards graded. Not to mention the slabs look dang clean. Thanks, TAG 👏

Incredible timing haha. Bounce rate is still brutal though. So yeah, A LOT of room to improve. Still, I’m starting to see pretty clearly what gets people through the door. Grading content does. Watching that continue to drive visits is making me more convinced that Blitz should be the consumer entry point.
