@kingochepr The Hobbit battles with more advanced special effects ended up creating a soulless battle that looked like a shitty video game. With less tech and special effects the original LOTR series was leagues ahead of this. Nothing beats the Battle of Helms Deep and Pelenor Fields.

@kingochepr One of the stupidest battles in cinema history. Literally there is no sense in every sequence. CGI fiesta where you can't distinguish between orcs and dwarws cause both have same colour and lazy, CGI plate armours. Oh I would forgot. It should be called Battle of Twins.

@kingochepr This is the most poorly-done battle sequence in all of Middle Earth. Icky. The Hobbit movies were terrible, besides the beginning of the Bilbo/Smaug stuff, and the Gollum/Bilbo stuff.

@kingochepr This is just a remake of the far superior LOTR. The Hobbit movies used far too much CGI anyway. I think most agree that the Hobbit movies sucked.

@kingochepr After watching both series so many times, I’d say it’s about 70% Lord of the Rings and 30% The Hobbit. Lord of the Rings is definitely better overall. But for pure 10/10 plot twists, Gone Girl comes second.
