I think the major reason for this fight is for sasuke to flex his new abilities, naruto already shows alot of new techniques during the great war. It’s not a boring fight but naruto is on defense mode almost throughout the battle.

Peeps be saying Naruto held back but it was literally said he stopped hold back Sasuke dominated the fight till he ran out of chakra I think when kishimoto said they were even, he meant Sasuke is the better fighter and Naruto has overall better stats
