Diesel is not at record highs: the exchange record is 5.86 from April 2022, this run's high is 5.19 on Sep 14, front-month trades 5.01 now. The 10Y above 5 is real. Tightness inside a known range, not a new regime - size the energy leg off the settled record, not a headline.
