the greatest gifts parents gave my sister and I was never taking us to these places… they had us all over national parks, state parks, antique stores, junkyards, battlefields, cemeteries, museums, theater…. You get the picture. And I would have to say that was definitely an enchanted childhood. I went with my best friend to an amusement park somewhere in Indiana and hated it. This is greed and brain rot.

It's not greed. It costs $1300 because they want to ensure certain demographics aren't able to get in and ruin the experience...

When I used to buy a season pass to Disney. It was initially expensive, but the free parking and the discounts paid for the entire cost of the pass as long as I went about ten times a year. You don't have to eat the expensive junk food when you're there and can bring your own food and drinks.

I have never been, didn’t take my family and we are all ok. We go to Mexico and enjoy a week every year without the Disney BS

oh ffs you can spend all day at disney for 120 bucks, pack your own lunch, even better than their crap. eat, walk the entire park, a great workout, +amazing people watching
