Jay talked about struggling with his voice because of a cold during Blood Saga: 🐈‍⬛: it wasn’t an easy 3 days. I thought I wouldn’t be able to sing. Every morning I’d wake up thinking “I don’t think I can sing”. But once it’s time for the show, about 10 minutes before going on stage, I’d think “Maybe I can do this”? And once it’s over, it was just “I used up my voice. What do I do on tomorrow?” on repeat. Somehow I managed to sing. It’s crazy.

I'm proud to announce that Melissa Medína is the Announcer and Codriver in Super Woden GP 3! I'm so happy to have her on board. Melissa was kind enough to lend her voice to my very first game, Woden GP, six years ago. Now, it's amazing to be able to work with her again and have her incredible talent featured throughout the entire game. I couldn't be happier with how the voices are turning out! Wishlist here:

In Poland there is a long-standing tradition of providing Polish voice-over for foreign movies by a lektor. Poles have got used to it and generally prefer a male voice reading a movie over subtitles or dubbing. Why are male voices so important in voice-over for movies? There is a common belief in the voice-over industry in Poland that women's voices can be too emotional for this job, leading them to start acting instead of just reading a dialogue list. A good movie lektor should not overact or drown out the actors in movies. On the other hand, he shouldn't be too monotone and should not read every movie genre the same way. Moreover the original dialogues are never completely muted, so you can still hear the actors' original voices. Here's Tango & Cash read by one of the most popular Polish lektors, Maciej Gudowski, and this is how most Poles watch movies every day:
