He put a cut edge together. Had he flipped it it would have been 2 fresh edges. Also, why put it in the glue? Just lay it on top of one of the full runs.

Way too tight against the wall. A tiny bit of warping in any direction will lift whole sections up and away.

These laminate hacks look properly efficient.. the way they cut and slot the last boards in is clever
