As technology improved, game devs focused on the wrong things. All fans ever wanted was improvements to the games they loved (more players in Halo, for example). It's simple. Instead they spent all that horsepower on animating some black chick who hates master chief or something.

Its fun looking at this but besides this being novel and pushing traction. The actual game can't be that fun. Game design is part of all of this too. I get its hyped right now because its still cool. It will die fast though imo. Although this is just the start exciting times.
