I get that no YouTuber who covers drama for a living is going to be excited to admit they uncritically boosted a disgruntled former employee's allegations for several months. I understand there is embarrassment and I also understand (to a far lesser extent) that these people are slaves to audience capture. Convincing a viewer that they had the wrong idea is much easier than convincing a slop creator that they put those ideas into their viewers minds out of laziness or for financial benefit. Still rots my brain to see people play team sports something like this over a bruised ego.
