I’m angry, appalled and disgusted at this latest heinous attack on our Jewish community and the fact that Jewish people are having to live in a constant state of fear. I urge all Londoners to stand with our Jewish communities. Condemning antisemitism is not enough. We need to collectively fight against it, as we have in the past. I’m working with the police, the Government and community leaders to redouble our efforts to eradicate the scourge of antisemitism wherever it rears its head & protect Jewish friends, colleagues & neighbours.

I was honoured to visit Adass Synagogue in Melbourne following the antisemitic attack it suffered in 2024. Alongside my Liberal colleagues James Paterson and David Southwick MP, I met with Benjamin Klein, who has been instrumental in guiding his community with strength and resolve as they rebuild and move forward together. No one in Australia should ever be violently targeted for practising their faith. The resilience shown by the Jewish community in the face of hatred is deeply inspiring. We will restore Australians’ standard of living and protect the way of life that makes our country strong and united. 🇦🇺
