Upon detecting danger, adult elephants quickly guide the calves to the center of the herd, then form a tight, solid circle—facing outward with their massive bodies creating an unbreakable living wall to fully protect the vulnerable young 🐘🔥 This instinctive act, filled with maternal care and unbreakable unity, never fails to touch people deeply, revealing the profound intelligence and deep love within elephant society 💖

After Tropical Storm Edouard hit Texas, a tree in the yard of a house was knocked down. Sadly, only three baby squirrels from the squirrel family living inside the tree survived. The mother and father squirrels did not survive the storm. Luckily, the three baby squirrels were very lucky. The house cat found them and carried them into the house one by one in its mouth. The homeowner was shocked when they saw the cat coming into the house with the baby squirrels in its mouth. The cat took the baby squirrels in and cared for them as if they were its own kittens, protecting them and taking care of them. Sometimes, you don’t have to be the same species to save a life; all you need is a compassionate heart 🥺❤️

Power nap complete… with a big stretch a recharged Zigi is ready to resume baby elephant activities: Games with Lenny and Sulwe, milk feeds from mum, Sonje, and general spoiling from nannies Enkesha and Kiasa. This care free existence is not the norm for infant elephants. The rescued orphans in our care are testament to the tough and tragic beginnings that many elephants endure, but with your support, we’re offering second chances to orphaned elephants and a protected wild environment in which they - and any babies they have - can thrive. Did you know??🐘 After a gestation period of about 22 months, elephant calves are born – they have to stand up immediately and keep up with the herd. Nature has designed it this way: From birth, the little ones depend on the support and protection of the herd. Every movement, every game, every little bit of learning within the herd ensures their survival.

Mother elephants often use their trunks to gently hold their calf’s tail, guiding them as they walk together. This tender gesture is not only affectionate; it also keeps curious calves from wandering too far and helps them learn to move safely with the herd 🐘😍

They’re wild, essential, and worth protecting. Every orangutan deserves a future in the wild. Protecting them means protecting the forests they call home and the role they play in keeping them healthy 🦧🌿 #SaveOrangutans

Super Junior members genuinely want to keep the group active for a very long time. They overcame so many problems together. Line up changes, splitting agencies, nothing can stop them. All of them keep running nonstop and protecting the group for almost 20 years and counting 🥹
