I'd rather be authentic and honest than be fake in order to be liked more. Sometimes I struggle between honesty and compassion because sometimes raw honesty can be hard to digest. But, compassion without honesty isn't authentic. When we live and speak from a place of authenticity, the people who stay in our lives know they can trust and believe what we say.

Love is precious and should be saved for those around you. Being authentic means we build the right connections with the right people. Kinda like mycelium under the ground if it makes a bad connection it will retreat and find a good one making stronger connections altogether
