black sun is great i just didnt think itd be the most political thing ive seen since the boys (and arguably even more so)

It doesn’t do it in an annoying preachy way so I’m fine with it honestly

I really like the action when it is there but trying to equate minorities with kaijin is very stupid for a series that tries to be anti racist.

It's actually about Japanese communists in the 1970s, but it kinda went over everyone's heads because of their preconceived notions of marginalization, that being said there is more than one interpretation to be read from Black Sun as a whole

When a scene makes me physically recoil back a few inches I can safely say it has impact, both literally and metaphorically

I can't put my finger on it, but something about this aesthetic and camera work feels like Kamen Rider/Power Rangers, but for grownups.

This is why I love kamen rider, whimsy fun and brutal horror just live there side by side.

This show was so good!
