The word "Houthis" is a name given to them by the CIA/MI-6. They prefer to be called AnsarAllah. Currently the Mujahid belonging to AnsarAllah are gaining ground in every direction and over the past days have destroyed many types Saudi military. (Much of which we saw in Ukraine). Bin Salman has not only deployed the Saudi military but has also hired al-qaeda and ISIS to fight AnsarAllah. Thus far, they have had very little success in taking on AnsarAllah. If anything, we see them dead or in a hasty retreat.
