@ATabarrok @janbobrowicz When my daughter was this age, she would walk up to my desktop computer and yank out the power cord.

My daughter fully understood with 18 months that papa is a nice guy but cannot sing. She made that very clear by putting her fingers in her ears whilst giving me the perfect smile. We had a good laugh seconds later. A girl full of understanding, communication, compasion and humor.

@ATabarrok @janbobrowicz This video demonstrates causal inference as much as Clever hans demonstrated horses could do arithmetic

@janbobrowicz I've taught secondary school kids who would struggle to work that out, and they put them in the classroom with the top 1% & it retards progress.

@JamesPsychol @janbobrowicz Cognitive ability test should be given to each child at age ten. Correlation to time taken to solve problem as toddler? .77?

@janbobrowicz “Babies become aware of themselves only after 18 months” Do NOT let Yud know about this.

@janbobrowicz When I walk my dog and the leash gets looped around her paw, her movement is impeded, so she lifts her paw to release it from the loop. Is this causal inference that comes with being aware of herself?
