🗞️In the news: #Type1diabetes immunotherapy - teplizumab. It can delay the development of type 1 when used in its early, symptomless stages – before a full diagnosis. The first adult in the UK has been treated with it, but right now it’s only available in research settings.

At the time of my Type 1 diabetes diagnosis, I felt like my world was turned upside down. As a 13-year-old, it was hard to imagine what life would look like managing diabetes with dreams to continue touring all over the world. 18 years later, my diabetes inspires me.
