She explains that she can’t move because she will hit another vehicle. She isn’t refusing… or trying to block them… she is trying to avoid committing a crime. “I’m not impeding. Jennifer Cruz punched a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and kicked an ICE officer after telling them she was “ready to fight” during an immigration traffic stop. She resisted arrest aggressively, continuing to strike and kick officers as they tried to take her into custody. As officers attempted to place her in a patrol vehicle, Cruz kicked at a CBP agent, an ICE officer, and a Trooper, successfully striking the CBP agent and the ICE officer (whose left hand was injured). Even after being secured in the vehicle, she kept kicking the windows, roof, and in-car camera. While being transported, Cruz told officers her actions weren’t worth escalating the situation “over a set of car keys.” Later, she admitted on a phone call that she “messed up really ugly” and that what she did was not okay. It turns out that this woman is Morgan Osman, and she’s actually right. She has close to 1 million social media followers. She a Designer out of Miami and LA. A lot of times videos don’t tell the entire story. We don’t know all of the facts of what took place, and we also don’t know what this woman was going through mentally or emotionally. People on social media are so quick to jump to conclusions, and very reluctant to open their minds to the fact that we might be missing a perspective. What do you think?
