the iconic argument from #TheEarlySpring is here😭 "you’ve always been biased against me. you always think, I'm not good enough, I’m not talented enough. you never know how to respect me or treat me as an equal. why have I even been with someone like you for 6 years?"...

Caller: "Okay. So, I've been with my wife for, we've been together since we were 14, for 14 years. I'm 32, I met her when I was 19, we had a child at 20. And, um, I've always just kind of been a butthead to her, to be honest. Every now and then I would demean her or make little comments, and I would say it started to really get bad about six weeks ago. Um, we were doing some work in the yard, and I really just blew up on her over the stupidest little thing. And then about a week later, we're just constantly arguing and dividing from each other. And then about a week or two later, she told me that she thought she was falling out of love with me. And it just really crushed me. I never would have thought that those words could come out of her mouth, and she told me that the way I treat her is, I'm not treating her the right way. And I completely owned it. I mean, I said everything you said is absolutely correct. You know, and I said, 'I don't want my son, our son growing up thinking that this is how you're supposed to treat women.' And, I mean, since that day, I have treated her like an angel. I mean, I've done everything and just constantly telling her I love her, giving her hugs, kisses. Um, but that was a Saturday night, and then Monday night she ended up telling me that she was, um, in communication with a guy she met on TikTok. And she told me she broke it off with him, and I asked her, What was the subjects about?' And she said it was just somebody to talk to about what I'm going through, my mental, you know, health. And she said it was never anything flirtatious or anything like that. She said it was just a stranger that I could talk to, but she said, 'I broke it off with him, and I'm gonna focus on us. And I said, 'I'm all in with you, let's rebuild this.' And we went about two weeks and it was just absolute honeymoon phase. I mean, we were just, never it was great. And then I went through her phone two weeks after that and found that she was on Snapchat with the guy. And I confronted her about it, and she said, 'Okay, well, I didn't think you were really gonna change, and I wanted to keep this friendship with the guy.' And she said, 'I'll break it off with him.' And I'm like, 'Okay, I guess I'll give you a second chance. I'm kind of heartbroken again that you would keep this from me. And then about a week and a half later, which was just yesterday, I went through the call logs on which, I feel bad because I'm constantly digging at all this, but every time I dig, I find something. And I confronted her yesterday that she's been talking to this guy for 30, 40, 50 minutes a day, um, the last week and a half, after she told me a third time that she was breaking it off with him. And I'm just super confused. I don't really know how to handle this. Now she's saying that she's all done talking to him, and I'm like, 'Well, how do I trust you now? You've been lying to me for the past three weeks about this.' So, that's really all I got." John Delony: "So for 14 years... you belittled your wife. She got the clear message she was beneath you. You're the smart one, you're the fast one, you're the quick one. You are the provider, you're the all this stuff." Caller: "Mhm. I always thought she was beneath me." John Delony: "Yeah, you did. And she's got that message for, for a decade and a half.

"A lot of people are just too smart to believe in God. You know what I mean? Well, you have to believe in something bigger than you. And whether you call it science, whether you call it nature, whether you call it this or that, doesn't matter. You know, there's a force there. There's an energy. There's greatness. And those of us that, you know, do believe like we do. However you find him, just do" Dolly Parton doesn't talk about her faith like someone who has been a Christian for 50 years. Instead, she talks about God a fair amount- never Jesus or any other allusions to the gospel- in a way someone does when they haven't been attending church for 50 years. And Dolly hasn't. She hasn't consistently or regularly attended a “traditional” church as an adult, choosing for the last 5 decades to have ‘personal prayer time’ by herself while eschewing regular gatherings of believers or membership in any church body, and it shows. It's also why she told the New Humanist in 2024 “So much of who I am is based on my faith. I believed in God and I believed that through God all things were possible, and that through myself things were possible, if I hung on to my plan. …We all need something to believe in, whether you believe in God or not, whether you call it Mother Nature or Father Time or a higher wisdom. You need to believe in yourself and you need to believe there’s a force that can push you and lead you on. I was always guided by that. I’m very creative – what keeps me going is both spiritual and creative energy. I’m not a religious fanatic. I wouldn’t even say I’m religious, though I grew up with that background. But I have a lot of faith in myself and I’ve been so blessed to have been around great people my whole life."

All this time, many of us thought Ling was walking a little awkwardly because she was sore from the gym. Only later did we find out she had injured her toe from work and running. Yet she never made a fuss about it. Instead, she joked about covering her feet, made everyone laugh, and carried on as if everything was fine. She later shared that, with how busy she had been, it took months before she finally had the chance to get it checked. And by the time she told the story, it was already recovering. She mentioned it so casually, almost as if it was nothing. That’s just who Ling is. She’s one of the strongest women I know—someone who quietly carries her responsibilities, always tries to make the people around her feel comfortable, and gives her best to every piece of work. It’s no surprise that the people who work with her always praise her professionalism and dedication. But my kid… Sometimes, it’s okay to cry. It’s okay to tell us when you’re having a hard time. You don’t always have to carry everything by yourself. Because you’ve always been so strong, people forget that strength doesn’t mean you never get hurt. While some are quick to judge you from a few seconds of footage or look for reasons to criticize you, you rarely explain yourself. But the people who truly know you don’t need those explanations. We know your kindness. We know your compassion. We know you’ll notice when someone else is struggling and instinctively step in to help. We know you’re someone who keeps your promises and always tries to give your best. Those are the qualities that define you—not the narratives people create. So next time, promise us one thing, okay? When you’re hurting, let us know. We want to be there for you, just as you’ve always been there for us. Take care of yourself, too. 🤍 #หลิงหลิงคอง #linglingkwong linglingsirilak

Wayne Rooney claims playing for Man United is MUCH harder than playing for Arsenal or Chelsea. “Man United, and I can't stress this enough, is a different club to other clubs. So when you, the names you just mentioned there, Lewis Hall, Ollie Watkins, for instance, whoever, I don't know them personally. When you're recruiting for Man United, the level of detail to go into that recruitment, which I don't think has been there over the last 10 years, I don't think it's been good enough. Alex Ferguson was a master at doing it. He'd do it himself.” And to be able to play for Man United is so much more difficult than it is to be able to play for a Chelsea or Arsenal, 100%. Liverpool probably is the closest to Man United with the history of the football club. But to play for Man United, to deal with everything else, the football is a small part of it. Whether you like it or not, it is a small part of it. To deal with everything else which goes on at the football club, with the media, the scrutiny on being a Man United player.” “So you have to get that recruitment right. I don't know whether Lewis Hall is good enough. You don't know whether Lewis-Skelly is good enough. You don't know if Ollie Watkins is mentally strong enough to deal with that. So you have to go into players' backgrounds. You have to go into where they're from, what's the upbringing, and is he strong enough to deal with this pressure?” “So there's so much detail which goes into it. That's why I think previously, with players Man United have brought in, some of them have crumbled. Some of them have not been able to deal with that.”
