The IDF says troops killed a Palestinian gunman who opened fire on them in the southern Gaza Strip earlier today. Soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade were conducting clearing operations of Hamas infrastructure in the Rafah area when they identified the armed terror operative. According to the military, the operative opened fire on the paratroopers, who then returned fire and killed him. No soldiers were hurt, the army says. In another incident on Friday in the Khan Younis area, the IDF says it carried out a strike against two armed Hamas operatives, both of whom were killed.

The IDF confirms killing two Hezbollah operatives in separate drone strikes in southern Lebanon today, while adding that the results of a third strike are under review. During the morning, the military says it struck and killed a Hezbollah member in the village of Yater, who was involved in restoring the terror group's infrastructure. Within an hour, the IDF says it struck and killed another Hezbollah operative, near Bint Jbeil. That operative served as the terror group's local representative in the village, and as part of his role, he was responsible for liaising between the terror group and the residents "on economic and military matters," according to the military. In the afternoon, the IDF says it struck another Hezbollah operative near the town of Jouaiya. "The results of the strike are under review," the military says.

More than 20 Hezbollah operatives were killed amid ground operations in southern Lebanon yesterday, the military says. According to the IDF, the operatives were killed by troops of the 36th Division and in strikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force. In one incident, soldiers of the Golani Brigade identified a cell of Hezbollah operatives attempting to fire anti-tank missiles on the forces. The IDF says the troops killed five operatives in that incident. The military says the ground troops also located numerous weapons, including RPGs and anti-tank missiles. The 36th Division is one of four IDF divisions carrying out ground operations in southern Lebanon since Hezbollah began attacking Israel amid the war in Iran. The IDF has been preparing to deploy even more forces in southern Lebanon and further expand its buffer zone to push away the threat of Hezbollah from the border.

The IDF releases footage of troops scanning the inside of Hezbollah's tunnels beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon, before the underground complex was destroyed last night. Some 50 Hezbollah operatives were believed to be holed up under Ali Taher when a new ceasefire took effect in June. Contrary to recent reports, no members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were in the tunnels, according to the IDF. The military says it killed many of the Hezbollah operatives during the offensive to capture the underground site, including some trying to flee the tunnels and some trying to bring reinforcements. A video published by the IDF shows two Hezbollah operatives being struck after opening fire from one of the tunnel shafts. Inside the tunnels, around a dozen bodies were found by the troops, according to the military. Still, some of the Hezbollah operatives are assessed to have fled the area. The military says it will "reorganize" its deployment in the area following the destruction of the tunnels, but will still remain in control of the ridge with surveillance and firepower.

Amid the raid, a drone strike was carried out against two gunmen who were shooting at the troops, the army says, publishing footage of the incident. Also amid the operation, Haruv soldiers killed another operative who "posed a threat" and wounded several other gunmen in clashes, the IDF says. Several explosive devices planted under and along roads in Nur Shams were neutralized by Border Police officers and combat engineers during the operation. The IDF also releases drone footage showing gunmen operating at the entrance to a hospital in Tulkarem. The video shows one gunman handing over an assault rifle to another at the medical center compound.

🚨 HEZBOLLAH DRONES TARGET IDF TROOPS — ISRAEL HITS BACK ACROSS SOUTHERN LEBANON Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF troops operating near the strategic Ali Taher Ridge. Israeli soldiers shot down one of the drones. No IDF troops were injured. Israel responded with strikes on Hezbollah operatives, weapons storage sites and structures used to plan attacks. The IDF also struck a Hezbollah command center established inside a former hospital, where it says artillery and surveillance operatives had recently been operating. Before one strike in Arab Salim, the IDF warned residents to move at least 300 meters away from a building it identified as Hezbollah infrastructure. Lebanese authorities say four people were killed and 20 wounded in today’s Israeli strikes. The IDF called Hezbollah’s drone attack a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire.
