The image below supposededly indicates that FEMA sen electric chainsaws to a hurricane effected area with now power. However a light is clearly on in the image, indicating power or a generator connetion. This is a propaganda tactic called DIP or Deceptive Imagery Persuasion.

I generally like you, Ryan. But sending electric chainsaws to a disaster zone with limited power, whether it’s generators or not, is a stupid fucking decision. Not to mention… have you ever used an electric chainsaw? They’re absolute garbage.

Quite the privilege to be able to bitch on social media about how pallets of useful gear is powered. People send what they can in a prompt manner for disasters, it's not always going to be the most optimal or efficient. Fellas don't know how well they have it.

The guy clarified - they are on generators. The COMMUNITY does not have power. They must use their generators to power the chainsaws. So I guess it's YOU are doing the DIP here McBeth! And to top it all off, you even said it's used frequently by Russia 😂

Umm didn't you just do the very same thing? Anyway, even there is some power available a gas chainsaw and gallon container of gas will cut a lot of trees while a battery operated one will only cut a few tree before needing to be recharged. Carrying a dozen chainsaws to do the job of one isn't efficient or environmentally friendly...

Just because there is LIGHT in the storage area only means there is power being supplied ie either by a generator or an inverter. This does not mean that there is power in the region where these Chainsaws are to be used. This is called DEDUCTIVE REASONING
