The Inbetweeners watch the US version 📺

Spit it out Simon bud

There are just certain shows that have a very British sense of humour, that just don't translate to American TV. Inberweeners is one, others are Father Ted, Blackadder, Only Fools, Red Dwarf, One Foot in the Grave, & Fawlty Towers. None of these could be made with Americans.

Joe is referring to Porkys, American Pie etc w/ their toilet humour & graphic innuendo but these are movies, this wasn’t present on US networks. Also, it’s often bleak content, which Brit audiences respond to and US don’t tend to which is why US Office post ssn 1 so diff to OG

We venerate the failure, they venerate the successful.

Superbad is more representative of what a US Inbetweeners should have been. But it's purely cultural, we're wildly different to how we perceive ourselves.

In other words Si it was shit

@BestOfUKComedy What about the Office? You are sad looking cunts tho 😂😂😂❤️❤️

Shameless USA > shameless UK
