It is level 32, it doesn’t need nerfing it’s what you get for a reward grinding to that level

The IR spotter needs to be blinded by white and black smoke, also make it burn through batteries as a balancing effect. The large Batter with a 250 charge gets you 60 seconds of looking time

Verdict: NOT OP this is realistic use of IR. People should get better at not exposing themselves. Realism is everything.

that's kind of the point. I would make the argument that there should be a kind of smoke grenade that shrouds IR and it's fixed.

smoke grenades work because they dissipate burning chemicals, the smoke shouldnt be able to be seen through with IR. would be cool to see IR resistant padding be placeable in doorways/shoot houses, or be able to get reduced IR uniforms, most unis you can buy comes with a IR resistant coating, theres a reason they should be washed differently

ngl thermal spotting scope seems like it just needs a higher price or batteries, otherwise it's just a spotting scope, you'd need to still switch to your rifle and dial in ranging to actually get the kill, nevermind get someone else to kill them for spotting bonus.
