Absolutely beautiful... the day night cycle too ;)

Glad you like it! I'll keep pushing myself to learn more about game dev tech.

Thank you. Have a great day too 🥰

❤️✨✨

Okay, looking this good in Unity is really a mountain I'm learning to climb so props! Quick question - did you have to bake multiple light maps?? Or did probes do it all?

We started with Unity's HDRP. Since it's an open world, lightmap baking wasn't an option. We ultimately relied on SSGI combined with Volume and reflection probes to boost the lighting quality.

@geeteaehseven cool hows the performance?

@geeteaehseven The performance overhead is almost negligible, and it offers a very high cost-performance ratio.

@firefly38511 Thanks, you've kind of sold me. And it proves I have so much more to learn. I spent some serious money on Bakery but if I'm hearing you right, it doesn't apply to large-scale maps :( All the best and watching your progress from now on. Thank you for sharing so freely!!

@firefly38511 And wishlisted too ofc :) I AM THE TARGET AUDIENCE. I AM THE TARGET AUDIENCE

The game is finally playable 😱

Thank you for your attention and support. I will work hard on developing the demo version

When is the game releasing

Thanks for your interest! Core systems like combat, weapons, inventory, crafting, and enemies are fully implemented. The current focus is on polishing the quest system and level design.

Me "oh, cool Skyrim video... oh, wait, that's another game"

Yes, this is an indie game. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Definitely when its released

This is a generational bottom

What so many games overlooking, very nice !

Appreciate the support and interest. I'm committed to learning and improving.

Wow actually impressed night time actually looking like nighttime

@DELCroftCTRL So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support.

I can genuinely appreciate a game that actuallly makes nights incredibly dark rather than putting a blue filter onto it. Great work!

Thanks for the suggestion! That period before the moon rises does create a pitch-black nighttime effect.

Name?

Thank you for your attention and support. You can find the link on my homepage.

@KnoXIsNotReal Okay, Wishlited!

@KnoXIsNotReal Thank you for your support😊

this one look good and super clean i don't think i ever see a game this clean

Thank you for your support! I'm committed to keep learning and pushing forward with the game's development.

Wow! Very good!

I'm very glad you like it. Thank you for your support.

What's the game about?

@ditchdotwav The main content of the game is a third-person extraction shooter. Thank you for your attention and support.

wow that ass is nice

😊✨✨

is it real time or accelerated time?

Thanks for your support and attention! The day-night cycle in the demo video runs at 30 seconds, but in the full game it's planned to be around 5-10 minutes.

Cool! 😎👍

Yeah im totally looking at the sky...

😊✨✨

Will there be console versions later? I do have a PC, but I prefer playing on my Switch2.

Thank you for your support and attention. Currently, I have only mastered the release techniques for the Steam platform, and I will continue to work hard and learn.

Amazing light work! Did you guys try Adptive or Lumina? What make you chose Htrace, very curious in term of performance

Since we're using the Unity engine, we don't have access to Unreal Engine's Lumen system. Therefore, SSGI (Screen Space Global Illumination) is one of the viable options that consumes minimal performance, and its effect can be further enhanced using Volumes.

Lumina nit Lumen, it's a unity plugin similar to the one you are using

I haven't tested Lumina yet. Currently, HTrace SSGI works out-of-the-box and is very similar to the default settings, making it easy to get started.
