The institution-building and development efforts we are undertaking across various areas are clear signs of our nation’s rise, and these achievements are being demonstrated at multiple levels. One striking example is Bulbula Park, which was once a dumping ground but has now been transformed into a valuable public utility... space in just a few months. The leadership of Bole Sub-City, in collaboration with private entities in the area, has done a remarkable job by mobilizing the public and completing this transformation through its own initiative. This sense of ownership and proactive spirit must be replicated elsewhere. The investment made here serves both present and future generations, and I call upon residents to help maintain it, while urging all stakeholders to scale up such efforts in other parts our capital and country.show more

Last night, I was called to the scene where a young man had vandalized one of our newly installed dustbins in the CBD. Together with our County Environment Officers, we swiftly responded and arrested the suspect, who was caught in the act by vigilant and responsible citizens. He is now set to be arraigned in court. As the County Government, we remain committed to environmental conservation. The installation of these dustbins across the city is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and sustainable Nairobi. These public utilities are vital, and we must ensure they are protected for both current and future generations. I want to sincerely thank the concerned citizens whose quick action led to the arrest. I urge all residents to remain vigilant and continue working with us to protect public property. Environmental conservation is a shared responsibility.

Today’s protest in Zimbabwe has exposed how rotten its capital city, Harare, and its infrastructure have become. This used to be Africa’s 4th most advanced city. It is now a total embarrassment, highlighting the decay caused by Mnangagwa’s corrupt government and the incompetence of his clueless ministers who have destroyed not only the capital city, but the whole country. If the capital city is in such a dire state, imagine the condition of towns and other cities across Zimbabwe! It is a mess! Yet the guy wants to violate the constitution so that he dies in power! In 1980, Harare was one of the most advanced cities in Africa, often ranked among the top five. It had modern infrastructure, a well-maintained road network, reliable public services, and a strong economy compared to many other African cities at the time. Some rankings placed it alongside Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria as one of the continent’s leading urban centres. A city that was once a beacon of development and prosperity in Africa has been reduced to a shadow of its former self, and the same can be said for many other towns and cities across the country. A capital city is a reflection of its economy—that is why public hospitals, schools, water systems, and the economy of Harare are dead through corruption. Sadly, this corruption is an equal opportunity tragedy for all Mnangagwa’s victims, both in ZANUPF and among those who oppose it. This cannot go on!

However, I condemn the use of AI and other digital tools to distort facts, mislead the public, or sow confusion among citizens. I call on the Cyber Security Authority of Ghana and all relevant agencies to act swiftly and decisively in investigating these matters, identifying the perpetrators, and implementing stronger safeguards against such abuses. The safety of our digital space, the credibility of our public figures, and the trust of the Ghanaian people must be protected at all costs. Let it be clear: while we embrace the future of technology, we stand firmly against its weaponization for misinformation and deception.

Infrastructure, Investment, and Water Conservation – Maharashtra on the Rise!✨ It was an overwhelming moment to be at 'TiEcon Mumbai 2025: India’s Leading Entrepreneurial Leadership Summit' in Mumbai, today. Humbled to receive the 'TiE Mumbai Hall of Fame' award at the hands of the legendary, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy ji. This award is a proud recognition of the governance model we embarked on in 2014 under the visionary leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji. Receiving this award today is not just an honour but a realization that our efforts are making a real difference and that we are on the right path together. All these transformative infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai and MMR—be it the Coastal Road, Atal Setu, Metro Network, or the Vadhavan Project—have become a reality because of our governance, which turned aspirations into achievements. Every project has been backed by thorough study and dedicated efforts, and under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, we have worked relentlessly to make them happen. Today, these ongoing projects are set to boost the State’s growth significantly. The 4th Mumbai will be created in the area of Vadhavan which will emerge as a dynamic new city, driving massive GDP growth and creating a thriving business ecosystem. In just 5 years, we planned and initiated 372 Km of metro, out of which 150 Km is now delivered. With each passing year, we will continue expanding and delivering more, ensuring a stronger and more connected Maharashtra. Being recognized for water conservation is a significant achievement. In 2014, 14 schemes were executed by 6 different departments. We streamlined them into one scheme, one leader, and one department, launching the ambitious 'Jalyukt Shivar' initiative. Our goal was to make 25,000 villages drought-free, and the Marathwada region saw a significant rise in water levels. In the 2020 Government of India's Groundwater Report, Maharashtra was the only state to show improvement compared to others. This award also recognizes investments, and once again, Maharashtra has become the top destination for FDI. This year, we have broken all previous records—surpassing our own ₹31,000 crore investment milestone from 2016-17. In just 9 months, we have secured ₹1.39 lakh crore in investments, with 50% of the country's FDI flowing into Maharashtra. Today, Maharashtra stands as the new startup capital of India. We are dedicated to reviving Mumbai’s glory and propelling Maharashtra to unmatched greatness! We said we want a clean and safe city. Tonight, we conducted an oversight visit to observe the work performed by the night time cleaning operation. We are in Marabastad clearing illegal dumping. Our first stop was at Lilian Ngoyi Street. We have done a lot of work in the past few months to make this city is clean, but we know the job is far from over. To ensure our public spaces are clean will take a collective effort with citizens and businesses. City of Tshwane

Kerala has never witnessed a tragedy in one area as devastating as the one in Wayanad this time. I will raise this issue with both the Union and State Governments, as this tragedy demands a unique and urgent response. Our immediate focus is on rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts. The Congress family is committed to building over 100 houses here. We are dedicated to ensuring that all possible assistance is provided to our brothers and sisters in this time of need.

A Legacy Transformed: Unveiling New look of our Office Space at Kalol Dating back to 1968, four generations of My family have called this house HOME. In 2009, after our move to Ahmedabad, my father transformed this space ( the our old house at kalol) into a two-fold haven: a vibrant office on the first floor and a cherished weekend home on the ground floor. I joined the office in 2012, continuing our professional Practise. Over the past 57 years, this place has undergone countless renovations. Finally, in 2024, from January to July, 6 months of rigorous renovations, our office has undergone a remarkable transformation and is now ready. It feels like a dream come true to see this place transformed so beautifully. We are thrilled to present the new look of the office of "Sumant S Sheth" and "H A Sheth & Associates" -Harshil

TVK 2.0 has arrived stronger, sharper, and wiser.The past few months have been a phase of learning, correction, and consolidation. Proud to stand with our future generation of leaders this week with my friend, Senator Andy Kim and fight for the Presidential Management Fellows program! The PMF helped launch both of our journeys in public service and has helped generations of young leaders serve this country. But Trump is trying to end the program—which has been a vital pipeline for federal service. We need our best and brightest in public service, and we’re going to make sure PMF is protected in law for generations to come!

Kudos to the leadership and management of Benso Oil Palm Plantation. The plantation’s model of collaboration between private investors and smallholder farmers offers a clear pathway for sustainable job creation and rural transformation. Indeed, BOPP is a shining example of what we can achieve when we channel patient capital into high-value crops like oil palm. It strengthens our resolve as a government to scale up investment in the sector under our forthcoming Oil Palm Plantation Policy.

Our recent engagement with religious and traditional leaders was aimed at consolidating the progress made in positioning Kaduna as the most peaceful state in Nigeria. Notably, the state has recorded zero ethno-religious crises in the past two years—a testament to the commitment and support of our community leaders. We sincerely thank them for their tireless efforts in sustaining peace. The growing call by stakeholders for the replication of the Kaduna Peace Model across the country is a clear validation that we are on the right path. Kaduna State has become an oasis of peace and a model worth emulating nationwide.
